This morning, we got to love on Gabriel’s dog, Lizzy. She’s an older border collie and is very friendly! Then, we checked the coop and found an egg :) We were so excited!!

In the park, we took turns having our picture taken. It was very silly and we laughed a lot. We shouted, “poopy car” to make everyone smile and that made us laugh even more.

After photos, we showed Ridley the new climbing tree. We all worked on “building a hospital” in the tree using sticks and leaves. Then, we spotted a gorgeous maple tree across the street and wanted to get a closer look. Once we were close, we noticed a few items in our scavenger hunt next to the maple! Two feathers and one colorful leaf.

Not too far from the maple, we played beneath the fir foliage. We collected all of the fir cones into big piles and pretended they were “crystal locomotives.” Then, we threw them into the air and ran as fast as we could away from the imaginary wolf :) Sylvie noticed that the clouds were "floaty” and looked like animals.

On our walk back to school, we collected leaves and looked for rocks to put in our egg carton scavenger hunt.

After rest, we ate pawpaw popsicles while we watched the bees buzz about. Then, we made graham crackers! We took turns measuring all the ingredients, mixing, rolling, and finally poking holes in the flattened dough. Our favorite part was cracking the chicken eggs that we collected last week. We added the egg whites to our recipe and found it to be very tricky to not let the yolks fall into the bowl! Our second favorite part was tasting the dough :)

We’re excited to make s’mores again tomorrow with graham crackers we made ourselves! Our next baking project will be making marshmallows. Wish us luck!
