We learned how to play a new game this morning called How Does Your Garden Grow? and it was lots of fun! We took turns drawing vegetable cards and matching them to our colored “seeds” before planting them in our paper garden. Our favorite part was when we drew the “Pick It” card, which meant we could pick a veggie from someone else’s garden and add it our own.

During our morning circle, Rigel shared his Show and Tell item. It was a monster truck taxi! We laughed a lot while rolling it to one another and then completely across the room.

In the park, we played hide-and-seek, added more steps to our chalk obstacle course and then checked on our favorite climbing tree to see if she was in bloom. And she was!

After climbing for a while, we crossed paths with the Wilder Kids and joined their group for a story with puppets. We talked about the Spring Equinox and how all of the animals are slowly emerging now that it’s warming up. We are very excited for Spring!

Over in the pine forest, we ate lunch, dug for worms, sunbathed, and played a game of Tickle Spider.

After rest, we picked up where we left off yesterday and continued our water experimentation at the mud kitchen. We also sang the Daffodilly song about a hundred times :)
